As many of you may have heard DJI is currently under scrutiny for supposed national security risks. If an audit is not conducted by December 23rd, 2025 then DJI will be added to an FCC ban list. Unfortunately this will have great implications for my business as the FCC will also have the power to retroactively ban existing DJI products. If the above ban occurs I will put the following plan into effect:

*My existing DJI equipment will be sold. This will also include removing state and federal registrations and removing the drone from my insurance policy.

*All of my business operations that fall under aerial photography will be suspended until a later date. A shift to general photography will be made and my Google business profile and this site will be updated to reflect this change.

*I will continue to keep my Part 107 recurrency training up to date.

*My state of Minnesota business license will be maintained and kept active. This also includes my insurance policy.

I’m prepared to execute the above plan if need be. While this is sad this will not be a complete departure from drones or drone related activities. I will simply be putting operations on hold. Keep checking back on this site for updates!
